Notified My Order Was Cancelled

Through No Fault Of My Own

First and foremost, we're sorry that your order was unexpectedly canceled! 


While we strive to make both your order and delivery experience perfect every time, sometimes mistakes happen. And when they do, we're here to make things right. 


Once AJ Eats-Delivery verifies that your order was cancelled a 100% refund will be issued covering the cost of food and associated delivery fees. 


It may take a few days for the payment to disappear or the credit to post on your account statement, but don't worry – we won't take any money for this order. If you can still see the transaction on your bank statement after 5 to 7 business days please contact our support teams so we can assist you further.

Knowing When You Can Cancel

When you order Delivery food there's bound to be some user error .

(or even buyer's remorse). 


Before you place your order, you should know what to do if you change your mind. 


First:  You should call and cancel your order directly with the restaurant you ordered from. You should be able to cancel with no problem, as long as you do it before the restaurant starts preparing your order. (This speeds up the likely hood that your order can be canceled)


Note: If you attempt to cancel after the restaurant starts preparing your food, you will not be eligible for a refund. Customers who cancel orders too late in the process will still be charged for the food along with all associated delivery fees from AJ Eats-Delivery.  


Second:  Contact AJ Eats-Delivery to notify them that your order has been canceled.

Once this has been confirmed a 100% refund will be issued covering the cost of food and associated delivery fees.

Cancellation Policy Examples

We know that sometimes things change and you need to cancel your delivery.  We understand.  Below are some cancellation examples to help you decide how you would like to proceed:


*AJ Eats-Delivery has not placed the order with the restaurant yet and a Roadie hasn’t been dispatched yet? 


  • No problem!  You were able to cancel the order before the restaurant started preparing the meals.  


*The order has been placed with the restaurant, preparation started and a Roadie is on the way to the restaurant to pick it up?


  • Since we will have to reimburse the merchant for wasted product and pay the Driver for their time, you will still be charged 100% of the price for your food order. Also, The "Delivery Fees" agreed upon at checkout will still be collected as cancellation fees in leu of an alternate credit and/or cancellation fee transaction. (Recommendation is to have food delivered)


*Order preparation has been completed 100%, food picked up, and is on it’s way!  


  • We will need to charge you the full price for the delivery at this point which includes the items, the Delivery Fee, Gratuity, and any other associated fees agreed upon at checkout. (Reference Previous Example)


*How can I cancel an advance scheduled delivery?


We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our time, we have adopted the following policies:  


  • A scheduled delivery can be cancelled and a 100% refund issued! As long as preparation has not started and no part of the delivery process has begun. 


  • 24 hour advance notice is required when canceling or rescheduling.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment, delivery or service in that time slot.   


Cancel the advance order by contacting us directly so we can further assist you.
